Singapore again....

Again at the airport of Singapore. We were here 4 days ago and now were back, but not to spent time in the city but to go to Bangkok.
We just came from Hong Kong were we celebrated the Chinees New Year and my birthday. The fireworks were amazing, the big parade was a bit disapoinyhing. We both expected more of those dragons you always see on tv. But still we loved it. And for my birthday present Vern shaved of his beard that was growing for over a month. We made some funny photo's... Hope to posted them soon, with some more travel photo's. I know you all have been really curious. Be patient just a little bit longer.
Beside celebrating the new year we didn't do much. Just walked around town and yesterday we climed up a mountain to see Hong Kong from the famous Peak Tower view. You could take a train there but you had to wait in line for over 2 hours, so we walked. It took us about 1,5 hours but we stopped lots to see the amazing views true the trees. The walk down went alott faster, because Vern was dragging me down with his big steps, he just walked while I dribbeld behide him, must have been a funny view for everyone we past.

Singapore and Malaysia were nice to. We spent 3 days in Singapore walking around sitting on patio's and enjoying our luxe hotel. We had power 24h, hot water as long as you want and nice clean bedsheets. Amazing!!!
From Singapore we took a bus to Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur were we spent 1 night. The day we arrived in Kuala Lumpur (KL) we walked toward the Petronas Towers true some forrest in the middle of KL were we both got bit by a miljon musquito's. At first only Vern was coverd in red spots who were really itchy, but later at night i discoverd the musquito's loved my blood to and the itchiness started for me to. Lucky we found some amazing creme at the 7/eleven that we,ve been dragging with us ever since. We are addicted......
The next morning before our bus left back to Singapore we walked around China Town and eat at a restaurant were we couldn't read the menu, but the waiter was amazing and gave us the best food we had in days.... So that worked out fine.
The busride back we had a huge bus all alone... That was pretty sweet, going true customs at the borders went really fast and we could say when we wanted to see the movie... Sweet drive!

Next stop is Bangkok. We arrive there at night and so far we don't have a hotel booked so i'm curious how that will work out. Tell you later!!
